Transcript of the Podcast
Welcome to The Fertility Acupuncturist Podcast. I'm your host, Amelia Hirota.
This is our introductory podcast, so I'd like to give you an overview of what to expect on this show in the future.
The Fertility Acupuncturist Podcast is an extension of my website: The Fertility Acupuncturist.com, where I teach you the principles of Chinese medicine to help you enhance your fertility naturally.
In my podcast, I plan to explain the various areas of traditional Chinese medicine and how the principles of this ancient medicine can be used to nourish the reproductive system and help prepare your body for making a baby.
The goal of my work as an acupuncturist is to empower men and women to take charge of their health. In terms of fertility, I hope to help women have a wonderful pregnancy and a healthy baby. Once my patients get pregnant and make it to the 1st trimester, I often don't need to see them until the 36th week of their pregnancy, when they come in for prebirth acupuncture.
One of the most enjoyable parts of my work is when they tell me that they've had a wonderful pregnancy. That news just feeds my soul. And when they have their dream birth and healthy baby, I feel tremendous satisfaction in my work.
I hope that through listening to my podcast that you too have a wonderful pregnancy and a healthy baby.
With my podcast you can expect to have regular episodes, where we focus on a particular area of traditional Chinese medicine or fertility.
I'll also be starting an interview series, where I will be interviewing experts in the field of fertility, including acupuncturists, herbalists, massage therapists, hypnotherapists, doctors, as well as other health practitioners.
Also, I'd like to interview women and men, who have personal experience with infertility, as there is much to be learned from each other. In that vein, I'll be sharing stories of my experiences in the clinic, so that you have an inside look at how the principles of Chinese medicine help improve fertility.

I send you love, inspiration and strength for your journey.
