Acupuncture for Men

My wife and to a lesser degree, myself, are currently seeing Amelia for treatment of "unexplained infertility". The feedback and guidance she has given us have been extremely beneficial not only in our quest to conceive, but also to our overall mental and physical well-being.

We are now approaching all of our options with a much deeper understanding and certainly with a diminished sense of anxiety. I highly recommend acupuncture for men.

Updated news: I'm happy to report that my wife got pregnant soon after I wrote this. We both had been following Amelia's fertility diet, taking Chinese herbs, taking fish oil and getting acupuncture.

Any men who are thinking about acupuncture should give it a try. It's very relaxing, increases energy and definitely helps fertility!

Hi Amelia, I have also been diagnosed with low ovarian reserve with an AMH test. My question is since I can't conceive naturally, whether or not acupuncture will help in my situation? Will it help with a better response to medications thereby producing more eggs with potentially good egg quality to have a healthy child? What do you think of acupuncture and low ovarian reserve? Dear Amelia, My name is Heather and I've been seeing an acupuncturist that I really like here in San Diego. I recently completed a comprehensive female hormone panel saliva test and it showed that I have high testosterone levels. I was told that I have too much sugar in my diet with possible PCOS. What do you think about high testosterone levels and PCOS?


Dear Amelia, I have uterine fibroids and I had a myomectomy when I was 27. My goal in to get pregnant and shrink the fibroids without undergoing another surgery.
